Feb' 11. Beaverhead Chapter News & Highlights
1. We would like your feed back and nominations for our up coming officer's election. Ron's invitation follows.
Fellow PF members and friends,
As part of managing the Beaverhead Chapter of Pheasants Forever, we need to periodically review our leadership by supporting an officer election process.
It is time to elect officers for our chapter. We are now collecting your nominations, which Gary will prepare for an election process during our March 19th Banquet.
Offices positions are: President, Vice president, Secretary, Treasurer, Habitat Chairman, and Banquet Chairman.
Current officers are, respectively, Ron Fick, Paul McGinnis, Gary Lorenzen, Jerry Meacham, Eric Hammer and Jerry Meacham (he holds two).
If you wish to run or elect a candidate please advise our secretary by February 22 and your inputs will be noted. Elections will be held at our banquet.
Contact: Gary Lorenzen, cell 602-826-3211, email glorenzen415@loray-llc.com
I wish to thank you in advance for taking a moment to think about who you feel will be best for our organization.
Sincerely Ron Fick, President.
2. We have partnered with the Beaverhead Chamber of Commerce and Business Builders to leverage the “Buy Local, Be Local” Initiative. This allows our sponsors to have in a catalog of goods or services from our local merchants and artisans. Sponsors can underwrite one of these items and we will spend the monies locally for our Chapter’s banquet in March. What a win-win.
3. Our Habitat team has made remarkable progress on our Poindexter Pheasant Habitat Project. Weed and clean up days early this fall has set the stage for the team to prepare for seeding about 60 acres of food plots in the next few months. This team meets often and if you want to participate do not hesitate to contact Eric our Habitat Chairman.
You can catch all the details past and planned, by visiting our Habitat Corner at the banquet.
